Reputation Monitor tool, by Strategic Profits

This morning I’ve been testing a new online tool that can help you and your business to monitor what it’s being said about you or your business on the Internet. This useful tool is called Reputation Monitor, and is a generous freebie from Rich Schefren, from Strategic Profits.

So now you have two ways to build and mantain your reputation:

-the hard way, that is, not knowing what your market is talking about you and therefore being too late to repair an image damage, or

-monitor what people are saying about you at the very same moment they publish their comments/articles about you, your product, your service or your business.

With this free tool you will be able to monitor every online discussion concerning the keywords you choose on a daily basis. The Reputation Monitor tool will search for the term of your choice in the most popular social media websites (blogs, forums, and other social media sites) and then deliver to you the matching results through Google Reader.

All you need in order to use the Reputation Monitor tool is a Google Mail address or a Google ID (which is free as well). And then just follow the simple steps that you’ll find on the site. I found it really easy to set up.

I just read that Rich Schefren, the Internet “Guru’s Guru” (author of the popular reports Internet Business Manifesto and Atention Age Doctrine), is offering this tool for free to the Strategic Profits’ blog readers. Anyway, I strongly recommend to subscribe to the Strategic Profits Blog (it’s free), since Rich is giving great content there, with the purpouse of enabling Internet entrepreneurs to make more profits, to get more time off, and to grow a business they can walk away from without affecting profits.
